Craig A. Wolson has practiced law for over 35 years. Although he has primarily been based in New York City, he has had clients and engaged in transactions all over the world. He specializes in finance (including secured loans and structured finance), corporate (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, entity formation and corporate counseling), securities (including private placements and Rule 144A transactions), securitizations (including CDOs) and derivatives matters (including interest rate and credit default swaps).
From 2004-08 he served as Chairman of the Structured Finance Committee of the New York City Bar Association. He has been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer by Law and Politics Magazine. Since 2010 he has been an active member of the American Arbitration Association’s roster of arbitrators and has been included for many years in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in Finance and Business.
Articles Mr. Wolson has written, co-authored or edited have been published, among other places, in The Business Lawyer, The Michigan Law Review and Law 360. Just recently he co-edited and co-authored a book published by the American Bar Association. He is often hired by other lawyers to act as an expert witness and/or consultant with respect to litigation involving very complex financial transactions.
