Mike focuses on bankruptcy and restructuring, cybersecurity and mergers & acquisitions law. Clients reach out to Mike for advice when they have contracts or other business relationships with companies and individuals who are in bankruptcy or are otherwise in financial distress. Mike advises these clients about their legal rights and obligations in dealing with these counterparties, and litigates on behalf of this clients as necessary. If a bankruptcy case has been filed, Mike pursues his clients’ claims, and defends against any lawsuits that the debtor or bankruptcy trustee might file against his clients (such as “claw-back” actions).

Mike also works with clients on cybersecurity and data privacy issues, including the assessment, investigation and litigation of matters arising from information security and data breach incidents. When clients suffer a data breach, Mike assists with their response and advises on their legal duties, including clients’ duties under various security breach notification laws.
