Cartouche means “cartridge” in French. Cartouche Creations is reminiscent of my early years as apprentice filmmaker when I created sumptuous super-productions with my father’s Kodak Super-8 camera.

I will never forget the first time I put my first cartridge of film and started to shoot my friend Dimitri wearing a dead-skull mask. To me the camera was a magic device, transforming reality into some super-reality. It still holds true today.

I created Cartouche Creations LLC in 2011, a video production company in New York city, after working 20 years as a freelance director, doing a lot of work for television and video companies, both in French and English in Canada. I directed projects for Cirque du Soleil, CBC/Radio-Canada, Pixcom International, TV5, Coca-Cola, from documentary-style TV segments to comedy series.

Since my arrival in NYC, I created successful videos for PR, marketing agencies, entrepreneurs, small businesses. It’s exciting to create films in New York city!

My goal is to always bring something truly original and eye-opening to the viewers. I enjoy taking any project and make something that goes beyond expectations.
