David Bresler has spent most of his career in IT marketing and sales helping to develop markets and building, training, managing and mentoring sales teams to exceed goals. He has been successful in large Corporate America, building market share for small established businesses and creating and constructing a businesses from start-up. He has always believed that, in addition to what you know, it’s who you know that makes the difference. Since December of 2009, when he founded Network!Network!, he has taken all of his business and networking experience and put it to use building networks for entrepreneurs, biz dev executives and rainmakers to help them grow their businesses to the next level.
In 2000, restless for additional challenges after having sold his IT services company, ESP, David took on the responsibilities of Vice President, Business Development for several small companies, mostly in the IT space, helping them grow by closing business and structuring effective sales and marketing programs.
In 1989, Dave founded the IT Services Company that would eventually grow into Electronic Solution Providers (ESP). ESP was a regional IT services provider which offered Hardware and Software maintenance programs to assure that clients had the best computer support possible. Complimentary to the maintenance program, ESP configured and installed local and wide area networks. ESP’s clients were a cut out of the NY business community and included Law Firms, Accounting Firms, Advertising Agencies, Banks, Insurance Companies and various other NY businesses. In addition to his Administrative and Fiduciary responsibilities as CEO, Dave was the chief sales representative for ESP generating $Millions in revenue.
Prior to founding ESP, from September 1986 through June, 1989, Dave was the VP of Sales for Script Systems, a Public Company engaged in supplying turnkey Practice Management systems to Medical Practices, Nationwide. At Script he was responsible for hiring and training a sales force and opening branch offices around the country. As a result of his efforts, he hired and trained 25 Sales Reps, opened 10 branches in major cities around the US and grew revenue 5 fold. He also found and helped negotiate the purchase of the Medical Practice Management system which formed the backbone of Script’s offering.
From September 1980 to September 1986, Dave held various Senior Sales, Sales Management and Marketing Support Management positions at Data General, a large Hardware Mini-Computer manufacturer. In the 3 years he was in the field at DG he earned three Million Dollar Clubs and was named Branch Manager of the Year for 1982.
Dave began his career in IT at IBM in 1970, where he was a Marketing Representative for over 10 years. At IBM he was responsible for mainframe sales to Large Money Center Banks, serving on the CitiBank and Chemical Bank teams. Later he took on the responsibility for Otis Elevator and returned the client to a loyal IBM customer. At IBM he earned 7 100% clubs and received 2 regional manager’s awards, two branch manager’s awards and a district manager’s award, all for sales excellence.
Dave served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer from 1964 to 1968 rising to the rank of Captain. While there he held positions as Company Commander and Aide-de-Camp to the Assistant Division Commander for Maneuver Battalions in the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea.
Dave has a Batchelor of Arts degree Syracuse University. He also studied at Hunter College of the City University of NY where he completed all his course work for an MA in English Literature.
